What’s New: AP’s Latest Royal Oak + Code 11.59 Drops
Royal Oak Selfwinding Perpetual Calendar — Ref. 26684ST.OO.1356ST.01 (steel, 38 mm)
AP has shrunk its perpetual calendar into a 38 mm / 9.4 mm Royal Oak in stainless steel with a light-blue Grande Tapisserie dial and integrated steel bracelet.
It’s powered by the new Calibre 7136 (perpetual calendar: day, date, month, leap year, astronomical moon) — a 4.1 mm movement, 55-hour reserve — and the calendar functions are adjusted solely via the crown (no case-side correctors).
Notable update: the week indicator at the rehaut has been removed, giving the dial a cleaner, more open look.
The perpetual calendar is now genuinely wearable as a daily Royal Oak in steel — built-in complication ergonomics that collectors wanted. Expect strong interest in Asia for the steel piece.
Royal Oak Selfwinding Perpetual Calendar — Ref. 26684OR.OO.1356OR.01 (pink gold, 38 mm)
Same 38 mm platform executed in 18k pink gold with a beige Grand Tapisserie dial and matching gold bracelet. Mechanicals mirror the steel ref: Calibre 7136, crown-only calendar control, 55-hour reserve.
Week indicator also removed, keeping the display cleaner compared to earlier Royal Oak QPs.
Same complication, different crowd — gold buyers who want presence and polish. Expect the metal premium to change buyer profiles and keep grey-market behaviours segmented.
Note on the movement lineage: Calibre 7136 in these 38 mm Royal Oaks mirrors the ergonomic, crown-only approach AP introduced with the earlier Calibre 7138 (the brand’s new crown-operated perpetual calendar architecture), so you get full QP functionality without fiddly pushers.
Code 11.59 — Ref. 26441OR.OO.D405CR.01 (Perpetual Calendar, 38 mm)
A two-toned 38 mm Code 11.59 perpetual calendar in pink gold with a green embossed dial, powered by Calibre 7138 (selfwinding QP with crown-only adjustments, 55 h). AP positions this as the compact, elegant QP for Code.
Code 11.59 — Flying Tourbillon trio & variants (38 mm)
Ref. 26665BA.OO.D412CR.01 — yellow gold, green malachite dial, flying tourbillon, Calibre 2968 (selfwinding tourbillon).
Ref. 26665BC.OO.D632CR.01 — white gold, ruby-root dial, flying tourbillon, Calibre 2968.
Ref. 26665OR.OO.D349CR.01 — pink gold, blue sodalite dial, flying tourbillon, Calibre 2968.
AP stuffed a flying tourbillon into the compact 38 mm Code case across several stone-dial, high-finish variants — collector fodder for limited, high-impact pieces that sit between haute horlogerie and wearable sport-dress.
