2026 marks 100 years of the Tudor brand, and the highlight of this year’s releases is the much anticipated upgrade to the Black Bay 58.

The new Black Bay 58 reference 7939A1A0NU retains the familiar design of its predecessor but now comes METAS certified, marking a significant technical upgrade. It is also equipped with the T fit clasp, improving wearability and on wrist adjustment.

The model is now offered with two variations of the five link bracelet, along with a rubber strap option. Notably, Tudor has removed the fabric and NATO strap configurations, streamlining the lineup. The collection is now focused solely on the black dial variant, with the blue Black Bay 58 officially discontinued.

Within the Black Bay 58 lineup, we also see the introduction of the Black Bay 58 GMT “Coke”, reference 7939G1A0NRU, now available on a five link bracelet, adding more versatility to the model.

Black Bay 54: Expanding the Range

The Black Bay 54 lineup sees a welcome expansion with the introduction of a new blue dial and bezel configuration.

The reference 79000B is now offered on both the rivet style bracelet and a rubber strap, providing more options for those looking for a more compact and vintage inspired diver.

Tudor Monarch: A Centennial Release

In commemoration of Tudor’s 100 year anniversary, the brand introduces the Tudor Monarch.

The reference 2639W1A0U features a 39mm stainless steel case paired with a dark champagne dial. It is powered by a METAS certified movement and, notably, includes an open caseback, a feature not commonly seen across Tudor’s lineup.

The watch is also paired with an entirely new two link bracelet, signalling a fresh design direction for the brand.

Black Bay Ceramic: A Stealth Evolution

Tudor has also introduced a full ceramic Black Bay 41, reference 7941A1ACNU.

Featuring an all black aesthetic, the model is paired with a newly introduced butterfly clasp, giving it a cleaner and more refined profile compared to previous executions.

Tudor Royal: A Long Awaited Upgrade

Lastly, the Tudor Royal collection receives a significant update.

For the first time, the lineup is equipped with Tudor’s in house movements, along with the addition of the T fit clasp. This marks a major step forward for the collection, bringing it more in line with the rest of Tudor’s core offerings.

In addition, the Royal lineup sees refreshed dial options, along with subtle refinements to existing designs.

Final Thoughts

Tudor’s 2026 releases focus heavily on refinement and technical upgrades rather than radical redesigns. The introduction of METAS certification across key models, along with bracelet and clasp improvements, signals a clear move towards enhancing everyday usability and perceived value.

With the Black Bay 58 upgrade and the introduction of the Tudor Monarch, this year’s lineup strikes a balance between heritage and forward looking innovation.
