In our post today, analyzing the secondary market price of Rolex Sports Models, we will be covering the Rolex GMT Master II Rootbeer two-tone, 126711CHNR. Released back in Baselworld 2018, along with its older brother 126715CHNR, and the Rolex Pepsi in Jubilee 126710BLRO. Right out of the gate, this watch was trading over retail and has even managed to climb up in pricing. It is to this date, the most popular Rolex Sports model two-tone metal.

The similar effects can be seen on this model, where there was a drop in price in April and a price increase to the pre-pandemic pricing. To learn more about this phenomenon, check out our previous post on the Secondary pricing of the Rolex 126715CHNR.

The difference is that the 126711CHNR remained relatively steady in pricing, only dropping around 2% in pricing in its lowest point in 2020 as compared to the other over retail Rolex Sports models. It has managed to recover to its previous high in just 2 months. The 126711CHNR has always remained a fan favorite, due to its versatility, making it very popular with both men and ladies. It is value for money for what you are getting; it being not too much over retail and being finished in Rolex’s signature 18k gold.

Do you think that the prices will continue to go up or has this model reach its peak? Only time will tell.
