Rolex Retail Price Increase 2025 – GMT Master II, Submariner
The leaks were true, Rolex has officially raised retail prices across its lineup. In Singapore, the updated pricing aligns closely with Europe, with modest increases for stainless steel models, steeper hikes for two-tone pieces, and the most significant jumps reserved for solid gold models.
Impact on the GMT Master II Collection:
– Stainless steel models: Up by an average of 1.04%.
– Two-tone models: Increased by an average of 4.5%.
– Solid gold models: Surged by an average of 6.8%.
Impact on the Submariner Collection:
– Stainless steel models: Up by an average of 1.15%.
– Two-tone models: Increased by an average of 5.25%.
– Solid gold models: Surged by an average of 7%.
Secondary Market Dynamics
Notably, stainless steel GMT Master II models saw the same price increase of S$100, except for the Rolex Sprite 126720VTNR, which experienced a doubled increase of S$200. Meanwhile, in the Submariner lineup, the Rolex Starbucks 126610LV had a smaller increase of S$100 compared to its black bezel counterparts.
Currently, two-tone and solid gold Submariners are already trading below retail on the secondary market. For the GMT Master II, two-tone models are trading slightly above retail, while all solid gold GMT models, except the Rolex Pepsi 126719BLRO with a Meteorite dial, trades below retail.
With this significant price hike, every two-tone and solid gold GMT and Submariner models could trade below retail, if the secondary market doesn’t adjust upward, potentially damaging demand for these models even more.
What do you think about this price hike? Will it drive up secondary market prices, or will these models struggle to maintain their value?
