Patek Philippe has unveiled a breathtaking piece unique—the Nautilus 5711/1500A—for the Children Action Gala auction, an event dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged children worldwide. Known for its philanthropic spirit, this marks the seventh time Patek Philippe has donated a one-of-a-kind timepiece to support this noble cause.

This extraordinary watch stands out with a hand-engraved case, bezel, bracelet, and caseback, inspired by the art and culture of the Māori people of New Zealand. Adding to its exclusivity, it features a charcoal gray dial—a first for a steel 5711. Accompanying the timepiece is a pair of matching cufflinks, also adorned with intricate hand engravings.

Aurel Bacs of Philips will be conducting the auction, which will be held on 25th November 2024 at the Children Action gala dinner in Geneva. How much do you think this masterpiece will fetch at auction?

Auction Result Update (25 NOV)

History has been made! The Patek Philippe Nautilus ref. 5711/1500A, a piece unique featuring a stunning Māori-inspired engraved motif, has just sold for an astonishing CHF 6,700,000 (approx. S$10.18 million) at the Phillips auction for the Children Action charity.
This incredible sale dethrones the previous record-holder, the iconic Tiffany & Co stamped Tiffany-blue dial Nautilus ref. 5711/1A-018, by more than a million USD.
In the current challenging economic climate, this achievement underscores why Patek Philippe remains the ultimate symbol of luxury and excellence in watchmaking.
