New Collaboration Release: Audemars Piguet x Cactus Jack by Travis Scott
Audemars Piguet x Cactus Jack
Audemars Piguet in collaboration with Cactus Jack, a label founded by hip-hop artist Travis Scott, released an exclusive limited edition of the Royal Oak Perpetual Calendar Ref. 26585CM.OO.D301VE.01.
Limited to 200 pieces, the “Cactus Jack” edition boasts a unique brown aesthetic, a signature color for Cactus Jack, and marks Audemars Piguet’s debut use of Brown Ceramic.
Travis Scott’s influence is evident in design elements, such as typography inspired by his hand-drawn model for calendar and week indications. The day subdial reflects the brand’s logo, while the standout moon phase at six o’clock features Cactus Jack’s smiley face with a sewn-shut mouth with a luminescent blue glow. It also showcases the use of two different lume colors green and blue.
The brown ceramic and sapphire caseback unveils the intricate selfwinding Calibre 5135, alongside a stamped open-worked 22-carat pink gold oscillating weight bearing dual signatures of Audemars Piguet and Cactus Jack.
In addition to this new watch release, Audemars Piguet and Cactus Jack collaborated on a capsule collection. A portion of the proceeds from the collection will be donated to a charity project chosen by Travis Scott.
