Different slogan

However, upon closer inspection, there are some inconsistencies that raise doubts about the authenticity of these leaks. The first notable discrepancy is the tagline. Patek Philippe’s renowned slogan is, “You never actually own a Patek Philippe. You merely look after it for the next generation.”

Yet, in the leaked materials, the phrasing is altered to, “You never actually own a Patek Philippe. You merely take care of it for the next generation.” The substitution of “take care of” instead of the usual “look after” seems off-brand for Patek Phillipe.

Misaligned Date

Another red flag is the date window’s positioning on the watch dial. It appears slightly misaligned, failing to meet the usual high standards of craftsmanship that Patek Philippe is famous for. A comparison with official models reveals that this detail does not match the brand’s typical precision.

If this leak were indeed authentic, it would mark Patek Philippe’s first-ever watch featuring a day-date complication. The design is to be a blend of influences from Gérald Charles and Cartier Santos.

What do you think? Could this be a genuine upcoming release, or is it just another well-crafted rumor? Let us know your thoughts on the potential debut of the Cubutis collection.
