Patek Philippe Retail Price Increase: 2024 SEP
In September 2024, Patek Philippe implemented a price increase across several of their models. This adjustment is likely a response to rising production costs, particularly driven by the increasing price of gold. Rolex followed a similar trend, raising the retail prices for their two-tone and gold models earlier in Jun 2024.
However, Patek Philippe’s approach is unique. While Rolex focused primarily on their precious metal watches, Patek has also raised the prices of their stainless-steel models by an average of 1%, with gold models seeing a higher increase of around 3%. This could attributed to the extensive use of gold in the intricate finishing of Patek Philippe’s movements, unlike Rolex’s movements.
In this post, we will be covering the price increase of the Nautilus and Aquanaut models. Notably, the 2024 releases remained unaffected by the price hike, including the Aquanaut 5164R in rose gold. Historically, Patek Philippe has maintained consistent pricing for their white gold and rose gold models, which explains why this particular piece didn’t see an increase.
