AUDEMARS PIGUET NEW RELEASE 2023 FEB: ROYAL OAK OFFSHORE
Moving on to the Royal Oak Offshore new releases. For the very first time, Audemars Piguet introduces a black ceramic case and bracelet, the new Selfwinding Chronograph ref. 26238C, featuring a Petite Tapisserie dial.
This is AP’s first dial that is entirely monochrome and reportedly challenging to produce due to its mix of textures and materials. The dial is improved in readability with white hands, accents and white Arabic numerals for the subdials and tachymeter on the rehaut for contrast.
Next, we have the selfwinding chronograph ref. 26420CE in black ceramic and yellow gold offers a sophisticated and striking contrast, enhanced by its “Méga Tapisserie” dial. This model also features the recently introduced quick change strap system, allowing for easy removal and replacement of the strap.
