At the back of the white tag, check the serial number and the model number. The size of the box used for your watch is indicated too. Ensure that you have the correct number of links when it comes to getting a watch in the secondary market. The guide below shows you how to count the number of links that should come with your GMT Master II in Oyster Bracelet steel, half gold, or full gold models.
How many links should come with your GMT Master II with Oyster Bracelet?
There should be a total of 12 links (excluding the end links).
At the 6 o’clock bracelet of the watch, there will be 5 links.
At the 12 o’clock bracelet of the watch, there will be 7 links.
If it’s confusing or hard to count for you, you can just ensure the number of screws on each side.
